East Dane: Buy More Save More Event

East-Dane-Big-Sale-1 EAST DANE | SHOP BOP

By far one of the best promo events that East Dane does. It’s the unofficial buy more save more event; where the more you spend the more you end up saving.

One of the main reasons why this sale is one of my favorite events is because there are absolutely NO BRAND EXCLUSIONS.

No worries if you aren’t a guy, Shop Bop the sister store for women is having the same exact sale. There is however only one brand exclusion and that is Stuart Weitzman. But literally everything else is fair game. That includes Gucci, Canada Goose, Cheap Monday, and Zanerobe to name a few.

Sale starts March 3rd 6:30am (EST) and goes through Sunday 4:00am (EST).

TJ21: East Dane – **Enter to Win a $50 Gift Card!** (Contest Closed)

East Dane is a relatively new online retailer that specifically caters to men’s fashion. It was launched in 2013 and is actually the brother site to Shopbop.com.

When I was first reading about East Dane, I came across their style philosophy which I’m absolutely in love with.. probably because it’s very similar to that of my own 😉 :

“We appeal to the guy who’s more interested in style than trends and understands that dressing well comes from a combination of confidence and quality construction.”

I was actually really impressed by the selection of designers on their site. It’s a great mix of high street fashion labels and quality urban brands that are pretty elusive to shop especially if you don’t live in a major city. For example if you’re looking for men’s jeans they currently feature 40 different brands which include Nudie, AG, 7 For All Mankind, BLK DNM, DSQUARED2, and IRO just to name a few.

As a guy when I’m shopping online I like it when a site is easy to navigate.TJ21-East-Dane-Mens-Jeans-Denim-1

I find that they’ve structured their site well so that it’s easy to shop the brands you want. You can even filter your search and only shop for items in your size. That way you don’t get stoked about a pair of jeans or a shirt that you want but now can’t have because its no longer available in your size… #dayruiner.. lol

Not to mention their sale section is KILLER! They have over 900 items that are included in their 50% off men’s sale. And to top it all off.. if you live in the US or Canada they offer free 3 day shipping. For Amazon Prime members they’ll throw in free 2 day shipping. #winning

Bonobos: Summertime Chinos

TJ21+Bonobos+Chinos+1 BONOBOS

Quick Bio:

For those who are unfamiliar with Bonobos.. They started as an online retailer back in 1997. Their  mission was (and is) to create excellent fitting garments for the modern day gentleman. Fast forward to now.. they are the largest apparel brand in the United States to have been built on the web. In 2011 Bonobos diversified the way that their clients could experience their brand/products by launching Guideshops, and e-commerce showrooms. By 2012  Bonobos struck a deal with Nordstrom and now their merch is carried in select stores nationwide.

While Bonobos has changed dramatically in size sense it’s humble beginnings in 1997 what hasn’t changed is their three prong promise.

  1. World Class Fit
  2. Innovative Shopping Experience
  3. Energetic Brand Spirit

TJ21-Bonobos-Garment-Dyed-Chino-SeaGreen I think any working professional would agree that chinos are a wardrobe essential. Chinos are incredibly versatile; you can dress them up or dress them down. Plus it’s always nice to switch things up and give your favorite pair of jeans a break. I like the selection of chinos at Bonobos. The color choices goes from classic and traditional to bold and pronounced. These chinos  are also made to have that “broken in feel” so not only do you look great you feel comfortable which I’m a huge fan of. 😀

TJ21: Komo Koa – Product Review

TJ21-Komo-Koa-Ring-Review-1 Komo Koa is a Hawaiian based jewelry label that was established back in 2004. What makes their products special/unique is that they utilize both Titanium and Hawaiian Koa wood to make their jewelry. For those unfamiliar with Koa wood.. it was traditionally used buy the ancient Hawaiians to make some of the very fist surfboards.

As I was learning about Komo Koa I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they are extremely environmentally conscious with both the acquisition of their materials and their production methods. For example they only use responsibly sourced Koa wood for their products. They are so committed to maintaining a greener planet that with every purchase made they donate a percentage of the proceeds to a variety of organizations in Hawaii whose goal is to create a more sustainable state and healthier world.

Product Review:

At first glance I really love the sleek look of the titanium ring juxtaposed with the koa wood. The ring itself is amazingly comfortable which I guess may sound weird to say when describing jewelry.. lol but it really is and I think partly it has to do with the fact that the ring itself is so lightweight. The craftsmanship of the ring is immaculate I was really impressed.
