So.. I recently put together a little video montage for my friends whom I traveled with to the Caribbean. I uploaded the video on youtube as an easy way for everyone to get a hold of it. I figured that while it’s still up that I would share this video with all of you! 😀 I’ll probably be taking down the video sometime next week.. but let me know if you guys are interested in me making videos (of my travels/style/ootd’s, etc.) for the blog. All the footage and pictures were taken with my iphone 6 and the song is “Sand on My Feet” by Donna Summer.
There are 7 different places to eat at on property at Sandals Emerald Bay. After arriving at the resort the first place that we went to eat was La Parisienne which is the French fine-dining restaurant. They started us out with a butternut, carrot and coconut soup with cinnamon. This was hands down my favorite dish from the meal. Next we were served salads that consisted of fresh greens, grape tomatoes, croutons, and pickled red onion.
We could choose between two different entrees and I chose the duo of beef tenderloin and New Zealand lamb paired with butter and herb mashed potatoes and bouquetiere of vegetables.
My time here in Exuma has been really fun! The resort is well kept and is literally the sort of place you see in magazines. The nice thing about staying at a Sandals is that all your motorized and non-motorized sports are included with your stay.
I’ve literally taken heaps of photos and I’m trying not to bore you with too many of them. lol In my next post I’ll show you pictures of my room and include a few more shots of the actual resort.
Also.. just in case anyone is wondering what I’m wearing in the top photo/what my shirt reads.. The hat of course is pretty much my go-to baseball cap (that I basically wear all the time) is by Lululemon, the sunnies are by Prada, and the tee is by Maison Kitsune. The print is written in French and reads “Je suis alle au college Kitsune.” This translates to “I went to highschool at Kitsune.”
I can’t believe that this year has come to an end. It’s been absolutely incredible! I’m pretty stoked about 2015 and I hope to take this humble blog to the next level! I’m beyond thankful for all of you who support TJ21 and I definitely don’t take any of you for granted!
I wish you all the very best in 2015.
And remember that I may not make it in this world, but you, the stars are yours.
Happy New Years! 😀
