Inspireret Af Havet: David Yurman – Spring 2012

I’m sure if you’ve followed this blog for a while.. ¬†you might have picked up on the fact that I have a strong affinity to anything that reminds me of the ocean/beach town culture. There is just something very emancipating about coastal living.

I think David Yurman does a really great job with this collection. Of course I’m quite partial to the motif..

Putting it together..

I can’t stress enough the concept that less is more and fit is everything. This look is a nod to all things American.

This Jacket is timeless. I’m not one for chasing fads, wearing them for a season, and then on to the next “big thing.” I look for things that work for me and express me. Items that I may have to invest in money wise, but I know I’ll have for the long run. The details in this jacket make it stand out for all the right reasons without saying I’m desperate for attention.

It’s no secret that I’m a major fan of Alternate Apparel. They are eco-friendly, there clothes fit me well, and the fabric is supernaturally comfortable.

Just a side note once you find a great fitting pair of denim trousers 99.9% of the time you can’t go wrong with a dark wash.

The nice thing about these boots is that the leather is treated to repel water. I own probably too many pairs of Tims however if you were only going to buy one pair you can’t go wrong with this classic color. You can’t get much more American than this boots enough said.

Just some visual interest on the wrist to finish off the look.
