I can’t say that all these items are on my personal wish list.. but the idea behind this print campaign is definitely creative and pretty cool way to showcase the different pieces from the current Carrera collection.
Solstice carries some serious brands and has a descent selection of shades and style. I naturally gravitate toward the aviator inspired frames. I think aviator frames typically can look good on anyone, the key is finding the right shape aviator frame for your face. If your not sure what frames would look good on you.. I have a couple recommendations:
1. When at the store try on different pairs just to see how they look. Even if you think that a certain style would never look good on you, you never know until you try it on. Who knows you may turn out loving it and find your perfect fit.
2. Ask for a friend or friends (who have a good sense of style) to come with you and help you pick out a pair of shades. It’s nice to have people who you trust that aren’t paid commission to give you their honest opinion.
3. Ask a sales associate at the sunglass store. I have mixed feelings on asking sales associates.. because as I mentioned before.. some are paid commission and will tell you anything looks good on you just to make a sale.. still I’ve known/met some really ace sales associates that were incredibly helpful and honest. So it’s still a viable option. 😀
Carrera is know for making sunglasses that are inspired by racing. They are most famous for their signature shaped pair of shades (pictured above). What a lot of people don’t know is that Carerra also carries frames for Rx eyewear. They have a decently large selection of frames to choose from. You can choose a virtual model on the site to try on different frames. Below are some of the frames I really liked from their collection.
